Tasked with developing a professional, clear, and modern brand refresh, the Limelight Media team spent some initial time understanding the business, its core strengths and uniqueness, and its long-term strategic plans. Any design updates needed to reflect the ethos of the people behind the logo and match the day-to-day expertise provided by the Business Platforms staff team.

Informed by further industry research and a knowledge of what works in terms of brand redesigns, this project incorporated a fresh brand identity that included a new colour palette of blues and greys, as well as appropriate typography, fonts, and a new brand pattern. The objective was to develop a suite of design assets that can be used effectively across relevant physical and digital materials for years to come.

The pharmaceutical industry has household names that appear throughout our homes, so this brand refresh needed to resonate with Business Platforms’ daily world while creating a sense of distinction and uniqueness separate from competitors and peers.

Informed by discussions with staff and our own internal brainstorming processes, the revamped brand identity assets speak to clarity, innovation, and professionalism, while allowing for the flexibility needed to provide multiple different formats of content and messaging.

This latter consideration was essential for Business Platforms, and ensuring this need was included at the heart of the design process will help to secure consistency and long-term sustainability from the project for years to come.
