In creating a full brand identity design for a new business such as Michelle Donnelly Therapies, it was essential for the Limelight Media team to understand the beginnings, motivations, and long-term aspirations of the founder herself. For any design created, it needed to resonate with the experience of meeting and working with Michelle and to reflect her own specific approach and thinking within her work.
The logo design is bespoke and tailored specifically for the business, blending the letters ‘M’ and ‘D’ with a subtle fingerprint texture, gorgeously supporting by a fresh and contrasting colour palette of icy, dark and light blues, alongside healing lilac hues. Likewise, the typography, fonts, and brand pattern focus on providing clarity, simplicity and distinction.

We developed the fingerprint texture as a core brand element because it naturally reflects what physiotherapy is about: personal, hands-on care.
Every fingerprint is unique, just like every body and recovery journey, reinforcing the idea that no two treatment plans are the same. The pattern subtly represents human touch, trust, and individuality, helping the brand feel warm, modern, and approachable while clearly communicating a personalised approach to physiotherapy.

In introducing itself to the world, a new business has a significant opportunity to make an impact – and so their visual brand identity is a key element in making memorable moments for a long time into the future. In trusting Limelight Media with her new branding, Michelle shared her vision and hopes for excellent patient care and her business ethos.
These inspired her new logo design, but also a carefully crafted and considered mixture of design assets that can be utilised across a range of physical and digital materials – providing existing client and future patients with comfort, warmth, and a strong sense of self within a healing setting. This, in turn, achieves what the Limelight Media team tasked itself to accomplish at the beginning of this project.
