No.76

Nestled inside The Imperial Hotel, one of Cork City’s most iconic and luxurious landmarks, No.76 was an exciting project that sought to transform a unique setting into something new while paying homage to a location with an incredible legacy. The No.76 revamp created a sophisticated, vibrant bar that matched a cosy ambiance with expertly crafted cocktails and the very finest in local cuisine, produce, and hospitality. Complete with specially commissioned wallpaper that was inspired by the hotel’s dinnerware pattern from the 19th century, No.76 tapped into the classic character within all its regular patrons.

Limelight Media Approach

With so many striking elements to consider as part of the design brief, Limelight Media collaborated closely with the creative team behind No.76 to understand the detailed planning behind its concept. Building on those discussions, the bar’s new brand identity needed to reflect the core features of what would be a remarkable and visually striking venue.

Inspired by the customised wallpaper, the bar’s logo design captured the new look and feel beautifully but was also developed in a way that could be adapted effectively to a variety of additional design assets including new menu designs, coasters, napkins, and other promotional materials.

Limelight Media also took on a leading content creation role, including on-site photography and video assets to deliver a new strategic content strategy. With a wealth of materials to work from, the team produced a range of innovative and engaging digital campaign assets to support a very intentional approach to the bar’s social media presence.

Impact

On its opening, No.76 and its new look became the talk of the city. The bar quickly became a go-to spot as guests, locals, and visitors sought out an elegant, relaxing experience right in the heart of Cork.

The approach taken by Limelight Media allowed for its fresh new brand identity to match and enhance the real-life experience of walking into the venue itself. From the logo, digital assets, and social media content, No.76’s branding and digital presence differentiate it notably from other options around the city and positions the bar to reflects the stature of its location within a much-loved historic Cork icon.
