Bringing innovative and decades of expertise to the fore, PackLIMS has developed a cutting-edge Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that reimagines data capture, standardises workflows, and automates and improves testing efficiency within laboratory environments.

A previous winner of the MTU Industry Research Collaboration award alongside industry partner Cool Harbour, the company offers one all-encompassing solution to the food industry that supports testing, equipment, calibration, personnel and training needs and ensures packaging requirements surpass industry minimum standards.

Limelight Media Approach

Inspired by the company’s founders, its innovative principles, and its long-term strategic aims, the new PackLIMS’ logo formed from a collaborative process with significant client input. The logo needed to be distinctive, unique, tailored for the food industry, and available in multiple variations depending on the context for usage and spacing of the placement. It was also essential to give appropriate space and prominence to the company’s tagline ‘Clear Vision, Better Decisions’, which helps potential clients understand PackLIMS’ mission instantly.

Supporting the logo is a fresh brand colour palette, typography, fonts, and brand pattern, all of which provide the flexibility needed in producing materials including brochures, business cards, the company website, and promotional items.

Impact

Given the technical nature of the LIMS product itself, the Limelight Media team sought to align the company’s values with a clear need to convey professionalism, innovation, and clarity in all visual, written, and digital communications.

By taking a holistic approach to considering what PackLIMS requires now and into the future, the Limelight Media team was able to design a set of design assets that will embed consistency across all marketing and communications messaging and industry changes for years to come.
